Laureates Math and Computing Club is an extracurricular activity organized by Laureates Academy for Gifted Students after school hours. The club has programs for different age groups and grades. The main goal of this club is to encourage students to develop their talents in this field by preparing them for different mathematics and computer science competitions including but not restricted to Stanford University, University of Waterloo contests, Canadian Open Math Challenge and Math Kangaroo. Being in a group with other smart students who participate in this course increases students’ interest in learning even more.
Laureates Academy for Gifted Students has constantly been a top team in different math and computing contests. Our grade 9 team for example, has recently got the highest score among all Canadian schools in University of Waterloo Pascal Contest 2022.
The program is designed for 90 sessions in 45 weeks per year (2 sessions per week). Each session is 90 minutes long. The club costs $ 2,400 (CAD) annually ($200 per month). Here you can find the time schedule. Please note that all times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
