Elementary Metalwork

Description

Elementary Metalwork course teaches students a variety of techniques in using metals including bending, coining, decambering, deep drawing, hot press hardening, incremental forming, spinning, shear forming, roll forming, roll bending, Repoussé, shearing, stamping, wheeling, cutting, milling and turning. Beside its artistic content, this course gives students a unique sense of attention, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Elementary Metalwork course enables students to design and implement any metal object from scratch.

The course is offered from grade 1 to grade 8. The knowledge and skills learned will increase in each grade and so does the complexity of metal works made.
