Elementary Astronomy


Elementary Astronomy course enables students to detect celestial bodies using naked eye or a telescope. Students will learn about the moon, the sun, the solar system and its planets, comets, meteors, neighboring stars, neighboring galaxies and the big bang theory as well as most important space missions throughout our modern history. Beside its scientific content, this course gives students a unique sense of attention, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Elementary Astronomy is an exciting mixture of science and fun that gives students an idea of our role in the universe.

The course is offered from grade 1 to grade 8. The knowledge and skills learned will increase in each grade and so does the complexity of observations and projects done.
